Stoxhatch FAQ

Is Stoxhatch real money?

No. Every account starts with $10,000.00 of simulated cash. You cannot deposit or withdraw, no real order is ever placed, and simulated gains have no cash value.

Is Stoxhatch free?

Yes. Creating an account, trading, the briefings, challenges and groups are all free today. If paid features arrive later, what exists now stays usable.

Who owns Stoxhatch?

Stoxhatch is owned and operated by Shawata Inc. Support and press: support@stoxhatch.com.

Is it spelled Stoxhatch, Stockhatch or Stox Hatch?

Stoxhatch — S-T-O-X-H-A-T-C-H, one word, said stocks-hatch. Stockhatch, Stoxhach and Stox Hatch are common misspellings; the app lives at stoxhatch.com and is not connected to any similarly named product, broker or token.

How old do you have to be?

13 or older. Under-18s confirm at signup that a parent or guardian agrees. We do not create accounts for children under 13.

Where do the stock prices come from?

Live quotes from the IEX exchange feed, served through our own server. Because IEX is one exchange rather than the full consolidated tape, a price can differ slightly from Google or Yahoo Finance.

Which stocks can I trade?

Any tradable US common stock or ETF — search by ticker or company name. Warrants, preferred notes and other exotic classes are filtered out to keep search readable.

How is Stoxhatch different from other stock market simulators?

Other simulators score whoever gained the most pretend money, which rewards gambling. Stoxhatch makes you write a thesis and a confidence level before each buy, then shows them back to you when you sell — and group leaderboards rank XP and streaks, not profit.

Can I use it with my family, friends or class?

Yes. Anyone can create a private group and invite people by a single-use link that expires. Members see each other's XP and streaks only; cash, holdings and trades stay private.

Can I install Stoxhatch on my phone?

Yes. Open stoxhatch.com in Safari or Chrome and choose Add to Home Screen; it installs as an app on iPhone and Android. There is no App Store download.

Is any of this financial advice?

No. Stoxhatch is educational. Briefings are written by an AI model from market data and can be wrong. Decide what to do with real money with a qualified adviser.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@stoxhatch.com from the address on the account and we delete it along with your profile, holdings, trades and briefings.
